SOLO PILOT HIRE

Phoenix Aviation is a CAA Declared Training Organisation (DTO), located in the Control Tower at Solent Airport Daedalus, Lee-on-the-Solent.
 

Our fleet comprises five of the very popular and reliable Piper PA28 light aircraft - four Warrior IIs and one Archer III - all extremely well equipped and maintained.

 

Our excellent facilities on the second floor command superb views across the airfield and include two briefing rooms, a conference room, member and pilot lounge, a planning room, kitchen and WCs.

Solent Airport is an ideal base from which to explore the UK, Europe and the Channel Islands.  With a hard runway and taxiways, we are never grounded due to waterlogging.

As a DTO we can renew and revalidate a range of ratings and provide flying tuition, groundschool and ground exams for the Private Pilots Licence (PPL), Light Aircraft Pilot Licence (LAPL), and National Private Pilots Licence (NPPL).  We also provide advanced training for the IR(R) and Night Rating.
